Ohio Department of Natural Resources Shawnee State Park River Campgrounds

Application Overview:

We worked with Star Consultants, Inc. on a sanitary pump station for the River Campgrounds at the Shawnee State Park for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Being near camp sites, there was a small area available for the pump station. Additionally, the prefabricated pump station cut installation time to help avoid any unhappy campers!

Pump Station Details:

Our team designed and built this prefabricated 5 ft. diameter by 20.5 ft. deep integrated fiberglass pump station. The wet well and monolithically integrated 4 ft. diameter by 4.5 ft. deep valve vault arrived to site with the 2 in. Schedule 80 PVC piping preinstalled throughout. The Barnes submersible grinder pumps were used as they delivered the needed 14.2 GPM @ 57.7 TDH and it’s all controlled by a custom Excel NEMA 4X duplex control panel with a clear viewing window to see the indicating lights from outside.
