Pump Station Longevity Webinar Recording

What impacts the life of your pump station? Many factors immediately come to mind: poor upkeep practices, natural disasters, or changes in the environment. But what is often overlooked are poorly design pump stations that struggle during their lifespan. Or issues during the installation have cause lasting effects. Our team of Curt Wyman, Rick Wootten, Kirk Holmes, and Glen Wyman will discuss ins and outs of how a three step Design, Build, and Maintain approach can help extend the life of your pump station for years to come.

Design Webinar Recording

In The Significance of 3D Modeling in Pump Station Design webinar, we covered how important 3D modeling has become in pump station design. With Rick Wootten, Daniel Hulse, and Carl Wootten, we explained how our team uses SolidWorks during our Design and Build processes to ensure the prefabricated pump stations we create are accurate and ready when they leave our facility. We then dove deeper into the benefits of 3D over 2D drawings (spoiler alert, it’s not just the extra dimension) and the overall advantages of solid modeling as a whole. Lastly we’ll review some design modeling success stories.

In the Is There Any Innovation Left in Pump Station Design? webinar, we will covered innovations within the pump station industry. With Tom Marshall from Crane Pumps and Systems, Trent Faulkner with Infrapipe, and Curt Wyman, Carl Wootten, and Derek Wootten from Excel Fluid Group we compared submersible vs. self-priming pumps, HDPE vs. concrete wet wells, field assembled vs. factory pre-assembled, and the NoVault™ pump station vs. conventional pump station design.
Pump Station Controls Webinar

Pump Station Controls

RECORDED: 3/24/22Pump Controls Webinar Recording

In the How Your Pump Station Controls Can Work for You webinar, we covered all things pump station controls and what you can do to help them operate your pump station. With Rick Wootten, Daniel Carmichael, and Curt Wyman from Excel Fluid Group, we covered the ArcSentry™ Control Panel and how it creates a safer work environment for the end user. Then, Jarrod Slate from CM Controls gave an overview of their PV600 Pump Vision™ pump station controller and its friendly and intuitive HMI that helps you run your station easier and more efficiently. Next, we covered the importance of redundancy and float backup as well as generator receptacles and manual transfer switches for extreme circumstances. We also gave some panel options, perfect for smaller horsepower applications. Lastly, we reviewed some recent projects we worked on with different control panel designs.
