Application Overview:

Excel Fluid Group partnered with Nucor to design and supply more than 20 prefabricated packaged pump stations for their new sheet steel plant in Apple Grove, WV. The goal was to provide a reliable, repeatable pumping solution that could be efficiently installed across the site.

Pump Station Details:

Two representative stations included a 10 ft. diameter by 6.5 ft. deep fiberglass wet well and a 5 ft. diameter by 6 ft. deep fiberglass wet well. Each station included factory-installed internal piping and valves, two Barnes submersible grinder pumps, and an Excel Fluid Group duplex control panel. All stations were delivered as fully assembled packaged systems.

The installation was completed by Nucor with the oversight of Excel Fluid Group as shown below:
