Mentor Marsh Leachate Pump Station

Application Overview:

We partnered with The Great Lakes Construction Co. to design and build a pump station for the Mentor Marsh project in Mentor, Ohio. The EPA required the collection of leachate runoff from contaminated soil, and there was no available power at the site, adding to the project’s complexity.

Pump Station Details:

We prefabricated a 6-foot diameter by 7-foot deep HDPE wet well with a corrosion-resistant grate cover. The station features two submersible sump pumps plus a spare, each rated at 43 GPM at 25 TDH. A duplex solar-powered control panel was included to manage system operation in the absence of on-site power.

Installation:

The installation was completed by The Great Lakes Construction Co. with oversight from Excel Fluid Group, as shown below.
