Loudoun County - Complete - 250x250

Loudoun County, VA

Solid Waste Management Facility

Application Overview:

We worked with Independence Excavating, Century Engineering and Solid Waste Services to design and build a leachate pump station for the Loudoun County Solid Waste Management Facility. This pump station enables the Landfill to expand with new cells for future growth.

Pump Station Details:

Our team prefabricated a 6 ft. diameter by 22 ft. deep HDPE wet well. This wet well will has an 100 year design life, is inert to H2S corrosion or other harsh chemicals and doesn’t require any additional coatings. It arrived at the facility with pumping and valves already installed. 2 SULZER-ABS explosion proof submersible pumps were used along with a EXCEL Duplex pump control panel.
