3rd Street Lift Station Replacement

Application Overview:

We worked with CT Consultants to design and build a pump station for the City of Franklin that met their accessibility and ease of maintenance requirements. Our NoVault pump station design removes the need for most confined space entries by bringing the valve piping above grade and to eye-level for the service technicians. This pump station replaced an existing sanitary pump station that had all mechanical and electrical equipment below grade which made serviceability difficult.

Pump Station Details:

This pump station used a NoVault NV3 enclosure that came prefabricated with the piping, valves, and control panel ready for connection at site. It sat atop an 10 ft. diameter by 27.64 ft. deep concrete wet well with a duplex ArcSentry™ control panel. Pumping throughout were two Barnes 15 HP explosion proof submersible chopper pumps rated for 1000 GPM @ 31.7 TDH. A Milbank Power Pedestal with a manual transfer switch and generator receptacle was included as well for emergency backup.
