Blue Sky WRF Process Pump Station
Taylor, Texas
Application Overview:
We worked with Kiewit and Sundt Construction to design and build a wastewater process pump station for the Blue Sky Water Reclamation Facility, located within the Samsung Semiconductor Facility in Taylor, Texas.
Pump Station Details:
We prefabricated a 6-foot-diameter, 15-foot-deep fiberglass wet well equipped with two Sulzer 7.5 HP submersible non-clog pumps, each rated at 190 GPM at 50 TDH. The package included a duplex junction box for power terminations, while the control panel and instrumentation were provided under a separate contract. All discharge piping was 4-inch 316 stainless steel, complete with an integral bypass connection and an air release valve.
Installation:
The installation was completed by Kiewit and the Sundt JV team with oversight from Excel Fluid Group as shown below:
