Industrial Park Pump Station
Application Overview:
We worked with Bell Engineering and Helms & Sons Excavating to design and build a pump station for the new sanitary Industrial Park that met their accessibility and ease of maintenance requirements. Our NoVault pump station design removes the need for confined space entry by bringing the valve piping above grade and to eye-level for the service technicians.
Pump Station Details:
This pump station used a NoVault NV3 enclosure that came prefabricated with the piping, valves, and control panel ready for connection at site. It sat atop an 10 ft. diameter by 30 ft. deep Concrete wet well with Tnemec interior epoxy coating where we installed the 4 in. piping and stainless steel guide rails. Pumping throughout were two Barnes SITHE ENVIE 4" explosion proof submersible chopper pumps rated for 150 GPM @ 40 TDH. A Milbank Power Pedestal was included with an Automatic transfer switch and MTU natural gas generators for emergency backup power.
Installation:
The installation was completed by Helms & Sons Excavating with oversight from Excel Fluid Group as shown below:
