Industrial Electrician/Electrical Technician

This is a fulltime first shift position (Monday – Friday) 7:30 AM 4:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Electrician / Electrical Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation of electrical systems including breaker panels, wire troughs, conduits, and a variety of industrial electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will also assist with the fabrication and plumbing of various materials and contribute to the construction of industrial control panels.

Key Responsibilities would include but not limited to:

  • Install and wire electrical equipment, including distribution equipment and motors according to electrical codes and safety standards
  • Install wire troughs, conduits, and associated electrical infrastructure
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components
  • Assist with the assembly and wire industrial control panels, as needed
  • Assist with fabrication and plumbing tasks, as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and specifications
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with industrial electrical installations
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and multimeters
  • Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and schematics
  • Experience in panel building and wiring a plus
  • Willingness to assist in non-electrical fabrication and plumbing work
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (standing, kneeling, climbing ladders)
  • Willingness to travel as a secondary resource (0-10%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent experience preferred

  • Commercial and Industrial experience preferred

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification

  • Experience with PLCs and automation systems a plus
