Warehouse/Manufacturing Associate

This is a fulltime first shift position (Monday – Friday) 7:30 AM 4:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Assistant. This entry-level position is crucial to supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and production departments. As a Manufacturing Assistant, you will play a key role in job staging for production, assist in shipping tasks, and contribute to the assembly and testing of pump stations. This position is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities would include but not limited to:

• Collaborate with the warehouse/logistics manager to ensure the smooth flow of daily tasks.
• Assist in organizing incoming stock and placing it in designated storage areas for easy access.
• Work closely with the production team to support job staging, contributing to streamlined production processes.
• Aid in preparing products for shipment by palletizing, boxing, and labeling items according to established standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, fostering a safe and efficient working environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, adhering to company guidelines for safety.
• Provide assistance during periodic inventory counts and audits to uphold accurate inventory records.
• Work collaboratively with the assembly team to understand and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Support the assembly of mechanical components, including pumps, motors, valves, and piping, following specifications.
• Utilize basic hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment under guidance for assembly tasks.
• Ensuring the timely delivery and retrieval of items to and from external processors or suppliers.
• Ability and ready to tackle any additional responsibilities or projects as directed by their supervisor.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety guidelines.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Participate in safety training programs and contribute to continuous improvement in safety practices.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant vocational training is a plus

Skills & Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment and follow instructions
• Pass certification test for forklift and scissor lift training
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot
• Adherence to safety guidelines and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
• A proactive and adaptable attitude, capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended period
• Comfortable working in confined space
• Working at heights
• Lift and carry equipment weighing 25 to 50 pounds +
