Inside Sales Support

This is a fulltime first shift position (Monday – Friday) 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and driven Inside Sales Support professional to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our Sales Team by handling administrative sales tasks, managing lead-ups, and driving prospective efforts. The ideal candidate is comfortable with cold calling, highly organized, and following up both internally with team members and externally with customers and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & CRM Support:
    • Assist in the creation of quotes and proposals for customer presentation
    • Enter and manage data across systems such as Sage, HubSpot, and project files
    • Maintain accurate records for contacts, companies, logged activities, and communications
    • Track project status, open bids, and design/budget stage opportunities
    • Help prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation:
    • Cold calling and emailing to identify and qualify new leads
    • Schedule meetings and “Lunch & Learns” with potential clients
    • Search and track opportunities through bid platforms like Penn Bid, EPA, and Builders Exchange
    • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest in EFG offerings
    • Follow up on leads and stalled opportunities to keep communication active.
  • Team & Process Support:
    • Work closely with the Sales Manager and team to ensure timely response to opportunities
    • Route qualified opportunities to appropriate sales consultants
    • Help take admin and estimating work off the sales team’s plate wherever possible
    • Be a proactive team player and contribute to overall sales team success

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a sales support, inside sales, or administrative sales role (construction/engineering firm helpful)

  • Strong Data Entry Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Outgoing, Comfortable with outbound calling and cold prospecting

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-up

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Tools Experience:

  • HubSpot CRM – managing contacts, logging activity, tracking pipelines

  • Sage (or other ERP/order entry systems) – for quote/order processing

  • Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel, Outlook, and Word

  • Experience using bidding platforms such as Penn Bid, EPA, or Builders Exchange

  • Familiarity with sales reporting and dashboard tools is a plus
