Site:

Washington Adventist Hospital

Silver Spring, MD

Application Overview:

Washington Adventist Hospital worked with Soltesz Inc. to develop a utility water and sewer plan that met Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) standards for their new state-of-the-art hospital located at the White Oak Science Gateway. This facility will serve as a new hub for bioscience and healthcare innovation in Montgomery County, Maryland. Soltesz worked to specify a pump station design that was pre-approved by WSSC to serve the decontamination tank next to the hospital.

Pump Station Details:

An Excel Fluid Group factory built pump station with a fiberglass wet well, aluminum NoVault enclosure and Barnes Sithe 3 Hp chopper pumps was deemed most suitable for this application. The Excel NoVault is approved by WSSC and all service can be performed without confined space entry.

Installation:

The installation was completed by Total Civil Construction as shown below.
