Site:

Dayton, OH
Successful Way

Application Overview:

The City of Dayton worked with Sunesis Construction to develop a sanitary lift station that could handle the industrial and warehouse development along Successful Way. Water and sewer infrastructure was required to service this new station.

Pump Station Details:

The Excel Fluid Group team built a prefabricated 10 ft. x 10 ft. x 7.5 ft. Industrialized Units steel building in our factory. This topped off a 6 ft. diameter by 25 ft. deep HDPE wet well, and two Barnes 4 in. submersible Sithe chopper pumps designed for 250 GPM @ 38 TDH. It was all controlled by an Excel NEMA 12 Duplex Control Panel with 480V, Three Phase, 60 Hz supply and Allen Bradley VFDs and PLC. The prefabricated enclosure eliminated the concerns of confined space entry. Additionally, the HDPE wet well prevents H2S corrosion or any need to deal with any further chemical treatment.

Installation:

The installation was completed by Sunesis Construction as shown below:
