Barnesville Water Booster Pump Station Case Study

Application Overview:

In collaboration with Sands Decker and Rudzik Excavating, we designed and constructed a Water Booster Station for the Slope Creek reservoir in Barnesville Ohio. Given the rural and hilly location, we focused on creating a robust solution to meet the area's unique challenges.

 

 

Pump Station Details:

The engineering team selected a booster station from Excel Fluid Group, featuring a factory-built concrete building. It includes three Weinman end suction pumps, certified by NSF, which fulfill the high head requirement of 265 TDH. The entire station is managed by an Arc-Sentry Triplex Control Panel. Additionally, EFG pre-installed a micro-comm system to facilitate communication with the treatment plant. With its rural nature, the municipality requested bulletproof shielding around the doors and exterior components.
