Cargo West #PS2 and Central #PS3 Pump Station

Application Overview:

The City of Dayton, Dept. of Aviation worked with Sunesis Construction to develop an the Cargo West and Central section of the airport suitable for light industrial and warehouse development. Water and sewer infrastructure was required to service this new development area along Cargo Road.

Pump Station Details:

The Passero Associates engineering team worked with the Dayton Airport to specify a pump station design that eliminated confined space entry for the operations team as this was a concern with other existing pump stations at the Airport.

PS2 Cargo West:

  • Design point 150 GPM @ 32 TDH
  • 6 ft. diameter by 28 ft. deep HDPE basin
  • Two 5HP Barnes Sithe 4 in. Explosion Proof Submersible Chopper Pumps

PS3 Central:

  • Design point 350 GPM @ 188 TDH
  • 8 ft. diameter by 28 ft. deep HDPE basin
  • Two 60HP Barnes 4 in. Explosion Proof Submersible Non-Clog Pumps
