Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command with Allan Myers

Application Overview:

We worked with the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command to design a duo of new wastewater pump stations on their Norfolk base. The Navy was looking for an operator friendly design that provided ease of maintenance and easy accessibility for the base personnel. Our NAVFAC approved design continues our proud honor of working hand-in-hand to provide critical infrastructure to our military and their needs.

Pump Station Details:

Both pump stations used a NoVault NV2 design with 4 ft. diameter by 11 ft. deep fiberglass wet wells with the required 2 in. Schedule 80 PVC piping. Each also used 2 in. Barnes submersible grinder pumps with one being rated for 15 GPM @ 86 TDH and the other at 10 GPM @ 37 TDH. Lastly, it was controlled by a NEMA 12 ArcSentry™ control panel with built-in SCADA.
